Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 29, 2026
This page explains what data RandomPickly collects, what it doesn't, and how the tools on this site actually work behind the scenes. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal text.
The short version
- Nothing you type into a tool (names, list items, custom labels) ever leaves your browser. It is not sent to us, not logged, not stored anywhere.
- We use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic (which pages get visited, roughly where from), not to track individuals.
- We show ads through Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve ads that may be personalized based on your visits to this and other sites.
- There are no user accounts, so there is no personal profile of you stored on our end.
1. Information you enter into our tools
The names, list items, custom wheel labels, and any other text you type into a RandomPickly tool are processed entirely in your browser, using your device's own processing power. This content is never transmitted to our servers, never logged, and never stored — including in the mini-games section, where any game logic (including the AI opponent) also runs locally on your device. If you close the tab, that data is gone. We built it this way on purpose, not as an afterthought.
2. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — which tools are popular, which pages need improvement, roughly which country visitors come from. This involves a cookie placed by Google and collection of standard technical information (such as your browser type, device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense)
This site is supported by advertising through Google AdSense. As part of that, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can learn more about how Google uses this data atGoogle's Privacy & Terms, and you can opt out of personalized advertising by visitingGoogle Ads Settings.
4. Cookies, in plain terms
| Purpose | Who sets it | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics | Google Analytics | Understand overall site traffic and usage patterns |
| Advertising | Google AdSense | Serve and measure ads, including personalized ads |
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser's settings. Doing so won't break any of the tools on this site — they don't depend on cookies to function, only the analytics and ad systems do.
5. Children's privacy
RandomPickly is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Some tools are commonly used by teachers in a classroom setting — in that case, it's the teacher (an adult) operating the tool, and, as explained above, no names or list content are ever collected or transmitted regardless of who is typing them in.
6. Your choices
- Opt out of personalized ads:Google Ads Settings
- Opt out of Google Analytics tracking generally:Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Block cookies entirely: through your browser's privacy settings
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if we add a new analytics or advertising provider — we'll update this page and revise the date at the top.
