Random Name Picker

Pick a Lucky Name fairly

Enter a list of names, spin the wheel, and draw one or more winners — with an optional no-repeat mode for multiple rounds. All in your browser.

How it works

1

Add names

One per line or separated by commas — a class roster, a raffle list, a group of friends deciding who's driving.

2

Choose winners

Pick one name or several at once. Turn on "Remove picked" to stop winners from being drawn again in later rounds.

3

Spin & reveal

The engine draws a fair winner, then the wheel spins to reveal it. The animation is the reveal — the outcome was decided randomly first.

Frequently asked questions

How do you pick the winner?

The winner is chosen by an unbiased random draw from the names you entered. The wheel spins to reveal it, but the result is decided first by the random engine — the animation is just the reveal.

Can I pick more than one winner?

Yes. Set the number of winners (up to five) and the tool draws that many names at once, without repeating any name within the same pick.

How does no-repeat mode work?

When enabled, picked names are removed from the pool so they cannot be drawn again on later rounds — perfect for running several draws from the same list.

Do you store the names I enter?

No. This is the one page on the site where trust matters most — you might be running a real raffle. So: everything happens in your browser, and no name you type is ever transmitted anywhere.

Is it suitable for a classroom or raffle?

Yes. Project it, show the wheel, and run a fair, visible draw. The no-repeat mode keeps later rounds fair because each name can only be picked once.
